| This huge family-oriented house is ideal for large families or groups of families in need of space, all the comforts of home.
The first floor features an open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen, with vaulted ceiling and passive solar windows. The living room incorporates a TV with DVD player, gas fireplace, and large sectional couch. The dining room has a large 8-person table and adjoins a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. Sliding glass doors enable access to an expansive west-facing deck, with awe-inspiring sunset views of Byers Peak and Sheep Mountain.
Two bedrooms, each with king-sized bed are on this level, one with en-suite 3/4 bath, plus a separate full bathroom. A washer & dryer, plus spacious walk-in ski clothes & boot closet are also available.
The huge finished basement contains the remaining 3 bedrooms, a full bathroom, plus a variety of entertainment amenities for the whole family. The bedroom configuration is one queen-size bed, two twins, and a set of Captains bunks, plus queen sleeper-sofa, ensuring up to 9 people sleeping downstairs.
The basement is sure to be the focal point for guests in the evening wanting to unwind after the challenge of a day’s skiing or snowboarding. Guests can play ping-pong, foozball, or stretch out in front of the large-screen TV and watch cable television or a DVD. Either way, the JHawk house promises to be a true family favorite and the answer to keeping the kids amused at night!
Located a short 5½ mile drive from the Ski Area, and 3½ miles to downtown Winter Park, private transportation by way of personal or rented vehicles is essential as the free shuttle bus system does not service this particular road.
