| Enjoy your ski or summer vacation in our 1360 square feet, two bedroom, two bath Sun River Townhouse located on the Fraser River. The townhome features vaulted ceilings, windows, and glass doors opening onto four decks that enhance the open feeling and spectacular views of the Byers Peak Range and Winter Park Resort.
The bedrooms located on the lower level include a master bedroom with queen-size bed, private bath, and color TV. Enjoy watching the slopes being groomed while relaxing in the Wind River Spa situated on the deck off the second bedroom, which has three twin beds. There is another bath on the lower level along with a washer and dryer.
The living area on the upper level features a kitchen layout that makes serving at the breakfast bar or dining area enjoyable. The wood burning stove adds to the warmth of the teak furniture throughout the upper level. The living room includes a queen-size sofa sleeper, TV, DVD, and VCR for your enjoyment.
To enjoy the many activities throughout the Winter Park/Fraser area, you can use the free shuttle, which stops one block away. In addition to a full range of winter sport activities, the area is also a wonderful summer vacation spot.
The Alpine Slide, mountain biking and hiking are a few of the activities offered at Winter Park Resort. The Pole Creek Golf Course is rated as one of the best, if not the most scenic, in the state. Within 30 minutes, you can enjoy the programs, hiking, and spectacular vistas of Rocky Mountain National Park as well as three mountain lakes.
Winter Park Ski Resort is a world class resort and the most popular in Colorado. Its five separate ski areas, Winter Park, Mary Jane, Vasquez Cirque, Vasquez Ridge, and Parsenn Bowl, offer trails that satisfy all ability levels. It is a great affordable family resort with a wonderful Ski School where learners can actually practice on their own mountain in Discovery Park. There are also award winning parks to challenge snowboarders. The uphill lift capacity of 36,900 per hour ensures less time in line and more time on the slopes. The addition of the $8 million Panoramic Express detached six-pack chair lift taking skiers to Parsenn Bowl will increase lift capacity and deliver skiers to groomed and gladed tree skiing on two new trails, Parry's Peak and Mount Eva beginning in 2007-08. At 12.060 feet above sea level, it will be the highest chair lift in North America.
Winter Park with its location near the Continental Divide experiences the most consistent snow season after season.
